Return to Prayer Letters
Dear Praying Friends and Supporting Churches,
Eph 6:19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
Our last month before our trip to Germany has been busy with many meetings in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Michigan. We have had some new churches take us on, praise the Lord!! With every new supporter, we get just that much closer to be full time on the field!
For the most part, we have been staying around our home church and having meetings around the area. While here, we have enjoyed going with our church youth choir to some revivals to sing as well as joining in and helping out with church wide visitation - where our church was able so see several souls saved! We were also able to go to North Carolina to New Manna Baptist Church for their youth rally. I talked my older sister, Kelly, into coming along and was able to see God work in her life as she wept several times and prayed at the altar. She has now asked me to start teaching her the Bible some over the phone! GLORY TO GOD! What a blessing it is to see God not only deal with someone and see them start to grow, but that it is in your own family!! I thank many of you for your prayers for my sister and ask that you continue! My sister has really seemed to be going in the right direction ever since my son's (Levi) funeral. Please pray for the Lord to give me the wisdom I need to disciple her along!
I had asked prayer for my Levi's grave marker. We were suppose to set it with family this past month. Unfortunately the Monument Company failed to have it ready and was very rude and hard toward me and my wife as we inquired about the availability for pick up. To make a long story short, after much heartache and many tears, we had to get a different company to do the whole thing and it should be ready this weekend (the 26th of April). So it looks as that we will not set the marker before our trip to Germany. However we are hoping to set it as soon as we get back, Lord-willing, on Memorial Day weekend.
Our trip is just around the corner as we will be leaving in 5 days. I am sure that by the time most of you read this we will be in Germany already. Our trip is going to be full with much to do. The first five days we will be visiting Brother Nico Verhoef and his church for church services as well as a street meeting. Then we will be traveling the rest of our time to be with Brother Hemmer in Nuremberg, Germany where we will enjoy helping with a children's meeting as well as be preaching and teaching some. Please be in much pray for God to give us some great direction and fruit in Germany on this trip. I hope to find out of exactly where we stand as far as support (with the US dollar dropping) while over there. We will be taking a few Bibles, a box of tracts and some bumper stickers in German. May God bless you all abundantly for your prayers and support in our service for Jesus Christ!
Prayer requests: My mother Ronda's fellowship with Jesus Christ; Devin, Todd, cousin Ronnie, and Evans for salvation;, my sister Kelly's growth; deputation travels, SUPPORT TO BE RASIED, and trip to Germany from April 29th through May 22nd.
May God Bless,
